7/26 Pre-Sessional 開始的第一天.....
09.15-10.00 Student Welcome and Course Director's Briefing (Colin Campbell)
這是我到目前為止,參加過最好笑的一場開學典禮....
Colin 的第一張Power Point 寫著:
Pre-sessional course 2007......
他請一位同學為大家念出這個畫面上的字,因為我坐在第一排,沒有機會看清楚這位同學的樣子.
他念到: Pre-sessional course two hundred seven,
Colin 很疑惑,相信不只他一個人,會英文的都在找200 這個字.
原來,他把2007用直覺發音法念成: 200 7.
這還只是小菜而已,真正讓Colin 昏倒的還在後面.
他要發一些資料給我們,"需要請坐在最右邊的同學協助."
就這麼簡單的一句中文,產生了下面這麼一大串的對話:
"I need your help from the most right side person in each line"
No one of them did the action......
Then he changed the question:" Do you know who is the most right side person?"
Everybody just keep looking at him.
"OK..... The person who is sitting on the first one seat from right side, just raise your hand....."
Again, no one did the action in the both left and right side of each line.
"Do you know the right and left?"
Finally, "Yes" everyone said.
"OK the right side person just raise your hand......."
Here comes a girl who is sitting next to me raise up her hand, but I am sitting in the middle of the line and it is the first line....
"Oh, dear, you are the most middle one but not both right and left side......."
Everybody just keep looking at him.
"OK..... The person who is sitting on the first one seat from right side, just raise your hand....."
Again, no one did the action in the both left and right side of each line.
"Do you know the right and left?"
Finally, "Yes" everyone said.
"OK the right side person just raise your hand......."

天哪~~ Colin 可能需要更粗的血管,還有強大的心臟才可安全的度過接下來的8周吧~~
